Acheté pour compléter le nettoyeur à ultrasons. Si l'on considère le prix au litre de l'eau distillée (et non pas déminéralisée) dans le commerce, on comprend très vite que l'acquisition de cet appareil est une évidence.
Certes, il ne faut pas être pressé (1 litre env/h), mais qu'importe. Attention, l'appareil génère pas mal de chaleur en fonctionnement. A placer donc dans une pièce bien aérée. On note une légère augmentation du rendement lorsque la température extérieure est plus fraîche.

We've had it for a month and had no issues - we have an elderly wethered goat who is prone to urinary stones and our tap water is very very hard. Our vet recommended distilled water as part of his treatment plan, but after spending $30 in just a few days buying it at the store, and having to go to multiple stores when they ran out, I decided we needed to start making our own. It's already paid for itself!
Due to hard minerals in our water, the inside tank got a thick layer of limescale within the first week, but this came with a small container of descaler to get us started. Also of note - it puts out a good amount of heat, so consider setting it up somewhere that you aren't trying to air condition - I've got it in our basement.
