Gute Anlage, bis auf die Kühlung. Diese ist viel zu klein. Habe diese Kühlung entfernt und ein 50 L Stahlfass umgebaut mit Kupferspirale als Kühlung. Jetzt funktioniert die Kühlung perfekt.

The still works great, once you figure it out. Some many possibilities. The instructions are not very good. And correspondence is a little slow, but very willing to help and make your questions and satisfy through slow emails. And you need a really good 🧊 water source for best results. Now wonder the old stillers did it by a creek.

This is a decent still to start into the hobby at a low cost. You do need to tighten all the joints as they do loosen up during the distillation. It also takes a while to start to produce with the small quarter inch output from the pot. My major complaint is the worm is too small. You have to stay on top of it during the distillation process because it will get too hot too quickly. Overall, it’s good for a very low end price and no you get what you paid for

good quality but the open worm to hard to control water . the closed column still i purchased for vevor is much more user friendly

The two things that would take this from a throwaway starter still to one you could use for years is the condenser needs to be bigger, the thumper isn't a real thumper, and the hoses from pot to pot need to be copper. Otherwise it's fine enough to learn distilling.

It’s still doing my first brew using the still, it appears to be working well.

One of the hoses was dented. When I straightened it, it cracked. The lid gasket came with a nick in it. Steam comes out. I'm looking for replacement parts

Thermometer was defective and I had to replace it with one from another company, and the air lock bubbler was broken out of the box, but Vevor did refund a part of the cost of the still due to it. It does distill as advertised and for the price it will get you started, so if your looking to just dip your toe in distilling to see if its a hobby for you or not this might be a good place to start.
