I am very happy with this product. All in all, it exceeded my expectations. Maybe the only small complaint (maybe not important). I used the thumper keg to distill rosemary needles, that is, I put the rosemary needles in the thumper keg. I noticed that after distillation the water in the main pot changed color. So, the steam returned from the thumper keg to the main pot. I will try putting a non-return valve at the end of the pipe that goes from the main pot to the thumper keg. That will be my little experiment. Of course, this is not important for distilling alcoholic beverages.

Absolute fine quality….excellent price….

Well once I was able to switch out my electoral to a 20 amp 220 volt power source I was able to start using this. I will say it is so much better being able to set the temperature to to desired setting and working on things outside while it’s heating up, it’s well made and seems to be quality materials. I have been using this item for several months now and I will say it is well worth the price. You will need to convert temperature to Celsius but it’s easy just print a chart off of google

I will be commenting about my friend who is a retired attorney, understood ! If you use this still for alcohol that is a nono. Now if like my friend you disregard this, this still is incredibly cheap and effective with outstanding quality. My friend just ordered another for spare parts in the future because you just cannot get them at this price . If you cook this in the house you either have no wife or you are out of your mind. If the kitchen catches fire, good luck telling insurance you were cooking moonshine. You do this in a outside garage or shed. Just keeping the coolant from overflowing is a tough job. You need a turkey burner and 4 or five gallons of water drums because the water will become warm faster then you ever imagined. Now, lets talk money, after your first run and cutting with water your alcohol you will get a gallon and a half. This still pays for itself after 1 hour and a half of work. If you buy a packet of turbo yeast the cost is 10 bucks plus 20 pounds of sugar and after 5days if you use your still you will get double the alcohol with no work at all. You need to do this with no one checking on you and keep a fire extinguisher handy. If you are ready to try this do it now before the Canadian government wakes up. It is a incredible experience and quite a deal. Get the one with the thumper keg it doubles your percentage of alcohol. I am talking for my friend of course!!!
