From the tiny pan I had before that then over flowed to this thing is like winning 100 scratch off. I had a few drops here and there but that was due to the changing flow rate of oil hitting the grate area. Virtually no mess! Worth it. All day. I just wish it had a stow-able lid over the grate. Right now I just have a trap over the top of it by the shed.
