Dylan Highly recommend
I decided to go with this kit because the Schluter system is just ridiculously priced. This is a similar system and is effective when installed with the correct techniques. I used Aquadefense as an additional waterproofing. With it being foam, you have to be careful to not squish the foam pan or curb, but same with Schluter. Highly recommend to save the money and use this kit.

Product is as shown. It is easy to use and a great product compared to previous methods. I highly recommend it. Very good value compared to similar systems offered by competitors at three times the price.

About this item
Description
Excellent waterproof shower base
Equipped with a waterproof membrane, waterproof strips, and accessories for inside and outside corners that effectively prevent seam penetration. The thoughtful design of the inside and outside corners makes the product more durable in use.
Stainless steel 304 mesh, which withstands the pressure and friction of daily walking and standing, PVC flanges, offers reliable protection against water ingress and meets the high quality requirements of professionals and private individuals.
The central drain hole, with a diameter of 160 mm, has been carefully designed to provide you with a pleasant showering experience. The drain structure ensures a consistent water flow, meets everyday showering needs, and adds a touch of smartness and comfort to your bathroom.
Remove dust and other residues from the surface of the solid substrate. Moisten particularly dry and porous substrates to prevent premature drying or skin formation of the thin-bed mortar.
You don't need to make any additional purchases; a complete accessory set for quick installation is included. This makes it easy to create a waterproof shower area.
