Three-Blade Dual Speed Extended Table
Ik was op zoek naar een betaalbaar vandiktebankje voor het voorbereiden van hout voor het maken van end grain snijplanken. Dan ga je kijken naar gevestigde merken als Dewalt, Makita en Metabo. Toch liep ik tegen de hoge prijs aan van de tafelmodel vandiktebankjes die zij verkopen. Ik zocht iets goedkopers.
Op Youtube onderzoek gedaan en daar zijn de meningen eigenlijk best positief. De enige echte punten van kritiek waren de plaats van de stofafzuiging (midden boven de tafel) en het feit dat de Vevor geen metertje zou hebben om bij het inschuiven van een balk of plank te zien hoeveel je in de komende gang gaat afnemen.
Welnu: Vevor heeft in haar laatste model de aansluiting voor de stofafzuiging verplaatst naar de zijkant. Echt ideaal. En er is een metertje toegevoegd waarmee je precies kunt zien hoeveel je met een volgende gang gaat afnemen.
Het schaven gaat echt met opmerkelijke preciezie. Afzuiging werkt goed en is goed doordacht. En de trommel staat goed parallel met de tafel.
Ik ben oprecht echt onder de indruk van dit machientje. Ik had hiervoor een loodzware vlak- en vandiktebank van HBM. Maar dit werkt veel fijner.
Zeker voor de hobbyist die geen professionele eisen stelt en niet 8 uur per dag gaat schaven maar die wel een fijn en bruikbaar machientje wil om mooi en precies schaafwerk te leveren: durf hem te kopen. Ik vind m echt te gek
