Our concealed beam hangers are designed for standard 2 x 4 inch / 51 x 102 mm lumber (they also fit lumber 1.6 to 2 inches (40–50 mm) wide). The concealed flange brackets feature straight edges for beam joints and offer cleaner lines for visible applications that complement your decor.
- Sturdy steel plate construction: plate thickness: 0.08 inches/2 mm. The concealed flange for exterior accents is made of high-strength steel to prevent deformation and scratches. The black powder coating withstands the elements year after year and will not rust or corrode in any season or climate.
- All necessary accessories included: Quantity: 24 pieces. Each concealed beam bracket contains 2 self-tapping screws and 8 wood screws. Having all the necessary connecting screws on hand will save you time and money during installation. Note: If you need to attach the hanger to concrete or a steel plate, please use other heavy-duty screws (not included).
- Installation without pre-drilling: Item weight (each): 0.5 lbs/0.22 kg. The lightweight 2 x 4 joist hangers can be easily and quickly installed by one person. The installation step consists of mounting the joist to the head joist, sliding the joist ends into the joist, and then tightening the wood screws.
