I bought the SY-220JA food slicer in late August 2026. First the nit picking: I cannot get the blade off to clean. It is supposed to be removable. There are several Allen head screws that seem to be loctited in place. I'm afraid I'll break the heads off them as I already twisted my Allen wrench out of shape. There is a zone about 3 or 4 inches long at the bottom of the blade that can't be reached by anything other than a long Q-tip, which gets cut by the blade while cleaning. There is a knobbed 2.5" long screw at the end of a lever on the back that seems to have no function and is not mentioned in the manual. The good: It slices very well. It will slice ham so thin you can see through it. The thickness control is very easy to use and is accurate, but it only goes to 12mm. Dont't try it on stiff bread because there isn't clearance for anything that does not flex past the motor. It slices, meat, cheese and vegetables great and catches the slices on a shelf in the back. Try it out on cold roast or corned beef. Your sandwiches will taste better. It is very quiet smooth, powerful and fast. It will not bog down. I have an old vintage Rival slicer. The Vevor is so much better. I put off buying this for a loooong time. I should have bought it 10 years ago. I started making my own salami, ham and bologna.

Deze snijmachine gekocht september 2026. Voldoet precies aan de eisen zoals beschreven staat. Hij is sterk, wel zwaar maar dat is fijn omdat de machine dan niet van ze plaats glijdt wanneer je aan het snijden bent . De slijpers op de machine heb ik nog niet gebruikt maar ziet er goed en stevig uit . Ook kan je de machine zo instellen dat je van flinterdun tot aan dikke plakken kan snijden. Dus al met al ben ik super tevreden met deze snijmachine en raad hem dan ook aan zowel voor thuisgebruik en zakelijke markt.
