I bought this to be able to transport by 12ft aluminum Jon boat in the neighborhood. It fit perfectly on the max size, leaving enough room for me to pull the handle without difficulty. I tied the handle to the back of my golf cart using nylon rope. I tied the boat to the trailer using the same rope so it wouldn't slip off for the short ride.It is a sturdy metal. Assembly and disassembly is easy. I needed a socket wrench and an adjustable wrench to assemble it. Probably could have done it with just an adjustable wrench, but it would have taken longer. The wheels are rubber tires, inflated up to a max of 30 psi. It is NOT something I would pull behind a car, but it was more than sufficient to pull behind by golf cart in my neighborhood. Would certainly buy again.
